Application Engineer

Our client is a German technology company specializing in the wholesale of engineering goods, with a focus on telecommunications equipment and devices. They also offer services in the repair and maintenance of electronic and precision equipment.

• Help the Sales team propose technical solutions to customers and provide technical expertise for implementing these solutions.
• Install, commission, maintain, and repair company and multi-vendor systems, including both hardware and software, on-site.
• Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) to deliver and commission projects for customers.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery, including writing technical documents like proposals, bidding specifications, system engineering costs, white papers, and application notes.
• Update as-built drawings, diagrams, and system configurations, and compile documentation needed for project handover to Project Support.
• Provide technical support for pre-sales, sales, after-sales, and service, including customer training and assisting in pre-sales and post-sales activities to understand customer needs, recommend solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Spectrum Monitoring systems, Air Traffic Control, Naval, or Defense (Electronics Warfare Systems), with familiarity in both hardware and software.
• Experience in system engineering models and integrating diverse technologies.
• Strong technical experience in system engineering and integration, with the ability to perform a wide range of troubleshooting and repair activities.
