Job Responsibilities
- Process, verify, and post invoices, receipts, and payments. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and perform month-end closing activities. Assist in preparing financial statements by ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Reconcile company bank accounts, monitor cash flow, and maintain up-to-date bank records. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually) and support the Finance Manager in budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis. Provide detailed reports on expenses, income, and other financial activities.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of tax filings (e.g., P/N/D. 3, P.N.D.52, Input Tax) and ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing deadlines.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing financial data and reports. Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions for audit purposes.
- Review and process employee expense claims, ensuring all expenses are recorded accurately and comply with company policy.
- Ensure financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and maintained in compliance with accounting standards. Review and analyze financial data for inconsistencies or errors and correct discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and clients, ensuring efficient billing, payments, and collections. Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and other departments regarding financial transactions.
- Ensure proper use of accounting software (e.g., Tally) to record and process financial data. Continuously improve financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Experience requirements
- Around 5 years of experience in related role.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial reporting tools.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Education requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
