Job Responsibilities
- Visit gemstone suppliers in Bangkok to inspect and select gemstones for purchase.
- Grade gemstones based on quality, color, clarity, and cut.
- Compile detailed purchase reports and inventory reports for management review.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with gemstone vendors to ensure competitive pricing and consistent supply.
- Stay updated on gemstone market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Ensure all gemstones meet the company’s quality standards before purchase.
Experience requirements
- Trained in gemology with in-depth knowledge of gemstone grading.
- Proven experience in selecting and grading gemstones.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify high-quality gemstones.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with vendors.
- Ability to generate and analyze purchase and inventory reports.
Education requirements
- Bachelor degree in related field
