Senior Finance & Accounting Manager

Job Responsibilities
- Develops accounting organizational strategies by contributing accounting and financial information, analysis, and recommendations for strategic thinking and direction, and establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
- Establishes accounting operational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies, designing systems, accumulating resources, resolving problems, and implementing change.
- Plans and directs new operational procedures to obtain optimum efficiency and reduced costs.
- Develops credibility for the financial management group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the Owner
- Directs preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyzes departmental budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made, and allocates operating budget.
- Enhances and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the Company
- Oversees all financial and project timelines for retail locations including new builds and remodels.
- Optimizes the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.
- Directs the activities concerned with safekeeping, control, and accounting for assets and securities.
- Develops a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
- Manages legal company matters and legal company cases.
Experience requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of management experience
- Experienced in Retail or E-commerce business is preferable
- Communicates comfortably and confidently with Executive Leadership, able to influence senior executive decisions
- Excellent at workload prioritization, resource management and project management
- Proven track record of effective performance management and developing staff and future leaders
Education requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and CPD preferred
