Job Responsibilities
- In charge of the production of monthly financial accounts and reports for the Company.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliation, intercompany balances reconciliation, Capex movement, tax movement.
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
- Continuing to improve the payment process
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
- Involved in monthly budget/forecast review and analysis.
- Ensuring the Company complies with all regulatory requirements regarding financial reports.
- Handling in all tax compliance including reconciliation and submission.
- Liaise closely with external and internal auditor / tax auditor.
- Key point of contact for auditors, taking day to day responsibility for the smooth running of the audit process.
- Developing and implementing best practice processes and systems across the Group.
- Technical accounting support to operating businesses
- Supporting on a variety of ad hoc projects as required. Communicate issues and suggest improvement in current process.
- Other duties as assigned such as update bank signatory / update company name/ address or etc
Experience requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in related fields
- Knowledge on the local accounting GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”)
- Strong financial analytical skill, report writing and English communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Words and Power Point
- Embrace problem solving and able to handle working under pressure
- Work well in a team and effective in communication with colleagues from other offices
Education requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting
