Customs Clearance Specialist Manager

Job Responsibilities
- Handle and manage the overall shipping operations
- Supervise and monitor shipping employees team members
- Ensure quality training and support is provided to ensure all staff are able to identify potential dangers to the core customs clearance operation and will refer to the Customs Department
- Introduce and maintain the necessary policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective management and control of regional clearance operations, so as to continuously improve standards
- Communicate and enforce the procedures to ensure compliance with local legislative requirements and relevant laws and regulations
- Support the operation team and customer service team, and develop strategies through effective and efficient communication of real and potential issues relating to systems development and clearance procedures as proposed
Experience requirements
- More than 8 years of experience as a Customs clearances
- Minimum 3 years at a managerial level
- Expertise in customer clearance, export rules and regulations
- Strong network in freight forwarding industry (good relationships with carriers)
- Good command of English
- Having skills in people management and team building
Education requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain or related
