Job Responsibilities
  • Set up overall long-term goals and objectives for the plant and ensure good measurements against them
  • Review and analyze activities, costs, operations, and business forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives
  • Confer with upper management of the plant to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals resulting from current status and conditions
  • Direct the overall operation of the plant
  • Review reports from the plant and generate utilization and efficiency reports to track the daily operations of the company
  • Direct and coordinate facility operations within established policies and procedures
  • Confer with department heads to ensure good coordination of purchasing, production and logistics
  • Ensure that the plant is properly staffed by adequately trained personnel
  • Take overall responsibility for housekeeping of the plant and its safety
  • Ensure that the plant is run in compliance with all rules and regulations
  • Lead department managers to address complaints and resolve problems
  • Establish business plans aimed towards continued quality, safety and cost improvement
  • Oversee management review of quality systems and encourage continued improvement, proactive management and teamwork
  • Communicate with management of other subsidiaries of the Group to ensure smooth transition of tooling and other product line movement between the facilities
  • Drive sales growth with assistance from the Corporate Sales and Marketing team for a variety of customer industries
  • Communicate plant financial and operational conditions to the Corporate as required
  • Manage the operations cost to enhance profitability while staying within legal guidelines and company policies and procedures
  • Propose to the Corporate for investment in new production line, machine or equipment in order to meet the requirements of business growth
  • Work with Corporate HR to carry out employee appraisal performance
Experience requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in plant management, preferably in plastic Injection molding
  • Good understanding in P&L, quality standards and systems
  • Good IT knowledge
  • Ability to teach and mentor, and to bring about positive changes and efficiencies to the workforce
  • Good strategic and analytical problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills in both Thai and English
Education requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science
