Job Responsibilities

· Responsible for managing setting overall procurement strategy and category management strategy, policies, and performance expectation.

·    Lead team to manage supplier performance and delivery, always achieving on time delivery.

·    Lead category team to develop strategic supplier and category strategy for strategic partnership, that facilitated in supplier performance evaluation tracking.

·   Maximize and leverage market competition to deliver value to category management strategy and set high-level targets and plans for procurement sub-functions.

·  Set manual standards including supplier evaluation criteria, performance tracking, and management plan, appropriate governance and control within procurement and contract manufacturing as well as implement contracting manual, including contract governance set up, review draft contract.

·     Provide input to Legal to create master supplier / service provider contracts included all important clauses and customize contracts to accommodate specific requirements.

·      Ensure sufficient monitoring and effective end-to-end category management activities of key categories.

·      Set strategic direction and performing market research/benchmarking on suppliers with input from production team and other relevant stakeholders and gather market intelligence on upcoming trends and changes.

·       Conduct creative, strategic sourcing activities, negotiate and create draft contract based on master contract template and consult with Legal in case of deviation from master template.

·       Drive operational standardized data analytics including spend cube analysis for all categories.

·       Manage & responsible for overall relevant operations/executions as well as continuously improvement and work in close collaboration with various teams such as Risks, Quality Assurance, Finance, Materials Management, Contract Manufacturing etc.


Experience requirements

·        Bachelor or master’s degree in relevant fields

·        More than 15 years of relevant procurement including managerial level in large size international manufacturing businesses and dynamics environment

·     Strong in managerial skills and people management as well as strong communication skills both spoken and written in English

·        Ability to be flexible, adapt quickly, and work under time constraints

·        Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, ERP
