Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee coordination and selection of subcontractors who work on various projects
  • Review the engineering and architectural drawings for ensuring that all regulations and specifications are being followed
  • Responsibility of proper construction and administration contracts and for gathering all the necessary licenses and permits
  • Track and control the construction schedules and the associated costs for achieving project completion within the budget and time allotted
  • Report to the senior management on the progress of a project and necessary modifications that has to be executed
  • Supervising immediate subordinates to manage volunteers, staff and schedules that are related to the daily construction issues of a project
  • Review progress reports, checking on reported difficulties and correcting any safety violation or other deficiencies
  • Establish a safety-first culture for all construction projects 
  • Provide construction point-of-view input to engineering team on EPC Projects to ensure constructability and efficient designs
  • Provide consultancy support to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality / seamless client service

Experience requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in construction management, engineering or related field
  • Minimum 25 years' experience in construction at within the oil & gas industry including refinery and petrochemical
  • Extensive experiences in various site and construction conditions (e.g. Green Field / Revamp / Turnaround / Maintenance / etc.)
  • Extensive experiences in various construction activities (e.g. Construction Budgeting / Planning / Transportation / Logistic / Heavy Lift / etc.) 
  • Experiences in construction management of Oil & Gas projects (Project Cost over 2,000 MB)
  • Proficient in MS Word / Excel / Outlook and project scheduling tools
  • Good command of English 
  • Holding Professional Thai Engineering License is preferred.
  • Possess an extensive understanding of construction standards and practices
  • Skill in construction document
  • Skill in organizing and managing cost estimating, bidding and scheduling procedures
  • Skill in documenting and assessing field conditions and change orders
  • Able to manage sub-contractors and manpower and delegate tasks to complete goals, objectives and schedule
