Lab Technician (For ExxonMobil)

• Perform a test accordingly to the specified and approved test method
• Generates the result accurately, timely and honestly
• Ensures that all samples are properly handled and retained accordingly to procedures
• Operate the test equipment with care to maintain it accuracy and reliability
• Ensure the good laboratory practice is applied
• Carries out a basic trouble shooting and calibration of lab testing equipment
• Performance Statistical Quality Control (SQC) and test method assessment per plan
• Identify and report a potential issue to supervisor
• Ensure the site safety requirement is followed and fulfilled
• Compares test results against targets, norms, and/or specifications and liaison with the appropriate personnel regarding the test.
• Prepares and standardizes all necessary reagents in accordance with specified methods
• Maintains laboratory
• Equipment in good and accurate operating condition
• Other assigned by First Line Supervisor

• Minimum qualification: diploma in vocational level in chemistry or petroleum chemistry or equivalent
• Fair in English (TOEIC score 200+ or equivalent)
