Head of IT

The Head of IT is responsible for the overall planning, organizing and execution of all IT functions. This includes directing all IT operations to meet internal & external customers’ requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing systems and development of new technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Corporate IT strategy to ensure alignment with business goals.

Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.

Research new technology to discover ways the company can gain a competitive advantage.

Making executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological needs.

Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.

Ensure all system infrastructures, applications and our core service are functionality and efficiency.

Monitor security of sensitive data and IT infrastructure.

Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance.

Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems.

Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.

Manage software development team to deliver new services or enhancement.

Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT Team.

Requirements:

Minimum of a Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Proven experience as CTO, Head of IT or similar managerial role.

Strong knowledge of multiple architecture domains including application, platform, data, infrastructure and security.
