Job Responsibilities
Define strategy, plan and manage assigned product groups in order to achieve sales and profits as targeted by focusing on customer’s needs and experience
Responsible for the overall planning of a merchandise category and developing business strategy
Responsible for developing an annual operating plan and driving other KPIs, including profit margin, and a net margin
Drive sales, profit, and other income by building up a business plan with business partners
Analyze sales figures, customers reactions, and market trends to come up with consumer insight and to build an effective product portfolio
Regular meetings and negotiations with suppliers, analyzing supplier performances, service level, and maintaining a good relationship
Working out the tariffs and price setting in order to reach turnover& margin goals whilst taking into account competition analysis
Collaborate with buyers to negotiate prices and to plan for stock availability
Work closely with marketing and analyst to develop effective campaign to optimize the output
Oversee, coach, and develop a team of merchandisers together with delegating clear KPIs
Experience requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business administration, or any related field
5-7 years of experience in category manager with cosmetic, beauty, and skincare product
Strategic mindset and a strong sense of the market; have a point of view and direction on where to take the business and ability to drive and execute a long-term business plan
Excellent skills in communication, cross-functional collaboration, negotiation, and business development
Quick learner with strong professional ethics; proactive in solving problems; ability to work under high pressure
Good command of English
