Job Responsibilities
- Oversee, develop, and implement the provision of ocean transportation intermediary services and continuously enhance ocean and air import & export operational procedures.
- Establish and manage relationships with origin counterparts and destination partners as well as map the company process flows and continuously review to identify efficiently.
- Lead negotiation of rates and contracts with ocean/air carriers and strategically grow a network of ocean & air carriers.
- Work with the team to optimize customers’ end-to-end transportation solutions and help resolve issues with steamship lines, ports and container freight stations & carriers.
- Oversee compliance with applicable regulations, other government requirements and filings, and company standards and develop & change in applicable laws, regulations and other relevant requirements.
- Others as assigned by the management.
Experience requirements
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics and other related fields
- At least 7 years of directed experiences in freight forwarding or relevant roles and strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and other relevant requirements
- Proactive with results oriented with the drive to grow an international ocean freight forwarding business and proven ability to establish or enhance ocean import & export operational roles.
- Experienced participating in the creation of strategic planning initiatives, strong analytical skills with a systematic problem-solving approach
- Competent in computer skills and fluent in communication in Thai, English or Chinese Mandarin with experiences working in multinational corporations
