Job Responsibilities
- Setting the standard for professionalism, clinical care, operational and fiscal excellence
- Leading transformative initiatives to create and sustain an exceptional resident experience and quality outcomes
- Creating a culture of innovation and advocacy for residential living
- Overseeing the performance of a multi-disciplinary senior management team
- Setting and controlling financial budgets and participating in business development
- Assuring compliance of staff to local and national laws, regulations, and professional standards
- Ensuring that the facility successfully meets international accreditation standards (CARF and JCI).
Experience requirements
- 10 years of senior management experience in a health care or hospitality environment
- Health care background is an asset
- Significant experience in the field of geriatrics and knowledge of sector-specific trends and initiatives
- Knowledge and skill in program evaluation, development and implementation
- Demonstrated expertise in quality and process improvement, and change management
- Strong financial and human resource management skills
- Property management and maintenance experience is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large multidisciplinary teams
Education requirements
- Degree in Business Management or Health Administration, preferred
