Production Manager

Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the realization of the shift production program and day-to-day management of the workshop.
- Develop the skills of shift leaders & operators.
- Lead the continuous improvement in the workshop.
- Control the KPIs for his/her respective shifts: quality, manpower, machine, productivity, flow, material consumption and general expenses.
- Plan and control both service rate and quality rate to reach the target.
- Follow up quality alerts and contingency plans.
- Follow up on the availability of equipment and machinery and plan major interventions.
- Ensure availability and suitability of consumables usage.
- Plan and request the manpower to fulfill the capacity and productivity in line with forecast, budget and turnover.
- Prepare and update all production reports.
- Coach and mentor key staff. Align development and training plans for them. Recognize performance and give sanctions when appropriate.
- Ensure that the Company Health, Safety and Environment Policy, as well as relevant safety legislation, are observed and followed.
Experience requirements
- Good English skills both written and spoken
- Over 7 years’ experience in prescription lens manufacturing with at least 3 years in supervisory level
- Able to work 6 days / week (Mon - Sat)
Education requirements
- Bachelor degree or higher in the Engineering field
