Job Responsibilities
Job Responsibility:
- Propose options or solutions for modifying or improve equipment to improve productivity and built the new product on the current equipment platform.
- Commission and validate new equipment introduced to the process.
- Coordinate with machine makers to supply and install equipment to meet factory requirements and standards.
- Support the NPI team to modify equipment to be able to produce new products in the current Set of a workstation (table, hand tools, power tools, and storage bin at point of use).
- Design/Improve tools, jigs, and fixtures to optimize product quality and minimize work.
- Review FOPs or Work Instructions created by OJT trainers to follow PD assembly directives and related ECN, PCN.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Over 5 years in production or process engineering experience.
- Able to use AutoCAD or SolidWorks and statistical control software such as Minitab
