ACCOUNTING & FINANCE MANAGER

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual and multi-year budgets that are adequate for the organization’s needs including preparation of periodic budget forecasts
- Prepare and maintain cash flow analyses as needed
- Analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and effectively convey analysis to staff as requested
- Assist in preparing year-end books for audit and complete annual audits
- Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures and regulations for any necessary entities - Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Respond to inquiries from staff regarding budgets, deposits, disbursement and grant reporting requests.
- Provide recommendations
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Perform basic office management duties as requested
- Multitasking in Assist General Manager function
Experience requirements
- Degree in finance, accounting and must have CPD
- Able to speak Japanese (both communication and reporting skill)
- Experience in managing level at least 7 years
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and database (SAP is a plus)
- Well-organized with good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Work effectively with Management team, staff and public
- Work independently
- Organize tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrate good judgment and good problem-solving skills
- Respond appropriately to evaluation and changes in the work setting
