From a Student to a "CEO for One Month"

Entering my third week as #CEOforOneMonth, difficulties are being slowly resolved while challenges are being more welcomed. From a freelance host and a university student stepping into the role of a leader in a new industry, the countless things that have been picked up through this journey may not be new to many but, frankly, eye-opening for me.

Becoming a Team Person

Being a freelance host, everything has always been about working solo. Working in a team with the amazing people in Adecco Thailand, the bright side of teamwork has never been more evident! Creativity is brought up on the table by allowing each other room to digest our own information and generating new ideas together. After all #TeamworkMakesTheDreamsWork

As a leader, people should be top-of-heart while growth should be top-of-mind

Reaching your goals is one thing, performing for growth is another. Whether the targets are measured in forms of numbers or other variables, improved performance could uplift the bottom line! Because people are the engines that drive the company’s performance, leaders should also walk the talk and not just give empty directions.

Communicate “the bottom line”

To work professionally and effectively, emotions should be set aside. Each individual and working units have their own culture and style of working. The key takeaway in delivering effective solutions is to understand and communicate the core message.

Learn, lead, adapt, and improve

Welcoming and preparing for change is a strategic opportunity. Always be open to learning, even if it means questioning/challenging the current situation. Translate the awareness into actions as a leader and adapt on your way because everyone has a different way to reach the final target. Lastly, be open to improve and innovate while you can. Take the chance to be the leader in ideas and methods!

Thank you all that have been a part of my journey. This learning experience will always be cherished.
