Survey results on the topic ‘Stay or Leave: What Matters Most?’

Adecco Thailand conducted a survey on the topic of "Stay or Leave: What Matters Most?" with 2,276 job seekers. The survey focuses on what influences employees to either stay with the current company or shift their careers. The survey results will be included in the Adecco Thailand Salary Guide 2015 to assist employers in understanding what their employees want in order to develop a strategy to retain talent and enhance retention plans. The survey was conducted with 2,276 respondents nationwide; 27% have 0-5 years of working experiences, and 73% are those with 5 years or more of working experience.

The survey results show that the top five factors that motivate employees to stay with their companies is compensation and benefits, career path, boss, colleagues and personal development opportunities, respectively.  On the other hand, what job seekers are looking for when they want to shift their career are higher pay, more challenging job scope, job autonomy, the company’s corporate culture and a flexible work schedule.
