Prepare, rewrite and edit copy to improve readability. Read copy or proof to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax. Allocate print space for story text, photos and illustrations according to space parameters and copy significance, using knowledge of layout principles. Develop story or content ideas, considering reader or audience appeal. Oversee publication production, including artwork, layout, computer typesetting, and printing, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget requirements.

จัดทำ รวบรวม เรียบเรียง และปรับปรุงต้นฉบับให้อ่านเข้าใจได้ง่ายขึ้น อ่านและตรวจทานข้อความข้อเขียนทุกคำทุกตัวอักษร แก้ไขข้อผิดพลาดในการสะกดคำ การใช้เครื่องหมายวรรคตอน และไวยากรณ์ จัดวางองค์ประกอบของเนื้อหา บทความ คอลัมน์ รูปภาพต่างๆตามพื้นที่และความสำคัญของเนื้อหา โดยใช้ความรู้ตามหลักศิลปะการจัดหน้า พัฒนาเนื้อเรื่องหรือเนื้อหาความคิดให้สอดคล้องกับประเภทของผู้อ่าน รับผิดชอบดูแลด้านการผลิตการจัดพิมพ์ ซึ่งรวมถึง ต้นฉบับเพื่อตีพิมพ์ การจัดวางองค์ประกอบข้อความและภาพประกอบให้แลดูสวยงาม การเรียงพิมพ์ และการพิมพ์ให้เสร็จลุล่วงออกมาเป็นฉบับสมบูรณ์พร้อมออกวางตลาดได้อย่างตรงเวลาและตามงบประมาณที่กำหนด
