Publishing Manager

Our client is a leading publishing house in Thailand with a rich history of delivering high-quality educational and cultural content to readers of all ages. 

As a Publishing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the publication process from conceptualization to distribution. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, project management, and collaboration with various teams to ensure the timely delivery of top-notch publications that meet the company's objectives and standards.

• Develop and implement strategic plans for publication projects in alignment with the company's goals and market trends.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities and consumer preferences.
• Oversee the entire publication process, including manuscript acquisition, editing, design, production, and distribution.
• Establish clear timelines and milestones for each project, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
• Coordinate with illustrators, editors, designers, printers, and other stakeholders to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Maintain high editorial and production standards throughout the publishing process.
• Review manuscripts, illustrations, layouts, and proofs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company guidelines.
• Implement feedback mechanisms and quality control measures to continuously improve the publishing workflow.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the publishing team, fostering a culture of creativity, professionalism, and collaboration.

• Proven experience in publishing, with a minimum of 5 years in editorial, production, or project management roles.
• If have a background in publishing children book is preferable
• Strong knowledge of the publishing industry, including trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
