Procurement Manager

Our Client is a leading operator of a coal-fired power plant in Thailand.

• Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify and secure the best value for materials and services.
• Lead the negotiation process to secure the most favorable commercial terms for the company.
• Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from supplier selection and contract development to performance monitoring and relationship management.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
• Spearhead import customs clearance for materials and machinery, ensuring optimal utilization of BOI privileges and adherence to regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive cost-saving initiatives and achieve business objectives.

• 8+ years of experience in procurement, ideally within the energy or manufacturing sector.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sourcing strategies.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• In-depth knowledge of contract development, construction bidding (a plus!), and procurement best practices.
• Experience managing import processes and leveraging BOI benefits (a plus!).
• Proficiency in procurement software and a knack for data analysis.
• The ability to think strategically, solve problems creatively, and lead with influence.
