Job Responsibilities
General Legal Support: Handle all legal matters, including risk management for business operations.
Contract Reviews:
- Review, modify, and advise on business contracts to mitigate legal risks and meet company objectives.
- Standardize contract management processes for legal compliance.
- Provide legal training to employees.
Litigation: Manage and advise on company disputes, litigation, intellectual property, and regulatory issues.
Employee Relations: Handle employment-related legal matters, including contracts, policies, and employee relations.
Research & Advice: Research legal issues and provide opinions to ensure compliance and minimize disputes.
External Affairs: Coordinate with governmental and private organizations to achieve business objectives and comply with laws.
Compliance:
- Ensure business operations comply with relevant laws.
- Implement and update compliance policies.
- Conduct compliance training.
- Monitor operations to ensure policy adherence.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks in business initiatives and support distributor compensation plans.
Legal Administration: Manage legal budget and coordinate with outside counsel.
Experience requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Law
· Thailand-licensed attorney with 15 or more years of experience in a law firm or as an in-house counsel at multinational businesses.
· Strong communication skills and fluency in both spoken and written English, including the ability to represent the organization before internal and external groups.
· Persuasion and negotiation skills with clients, management, and professionals.
· Understanding of business drivers and processes.
· Conflict resolution and consulting skills.
· Ability to work independently.
· Solid judgment and demonstrated ability to provide sound legal advice in view of conflicting or unclear legislative/regulatory mandates.
· Highest degree of ethics, honesty, and conviction.
· Willingness to travel domestically and overseas.
