Dedicated to excellence and sustainability, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Import and Export Manager to streamline their international trade operations and enhance logistical efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert recommendations to customers and related functions on Goods Insurances, Customs Duties, and Taxes.
- Monitor the import and export status to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Lead and support import-export strategies, seeking improvements in taxes and customs duties, and reducing freight costs.
- Oversee and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of import and export processes.
- Manage the import and export team and shipping agents, ensuring updated information regarding customs formalities is shared with the team and stakeholders.
- Prepare and inspect import and export entries, ensuring compliance with regulations such as Country of Origin, Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and applicable FTA Forms.
- Control customs procedures to ensure shipments are cleared in a timely manner.
- Coordinate effectively with the import-export team and related parties regarding shipments from dispatch to delivery.
- Follow up and control the utilization of tax privileges from the Customs Department, such as tax exemption, tax compensation, import tax deduction, and other special privileges for raw materials/machinery as per Section 29 (19 bis) of the Investment Promotion Act B.E. 2520 and its amendments.
Experience requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- In-depth knowledge of import and export procedures.
- Excellent team player with the ability to initiate ideas and develop effective working procedures.
- Strong strategic relationship management skills with internal and external customers.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal.
