Senior Purchasing Officer

Our client is a rapidly growing supplier of processed fruit products, particularly frozen fruit, to leading multinational companies. Their business is expanding across East and Southeast Asia.

• Source and inspect raw materials, especially frozen durian, from suppliers within Thailand and other countries in Asia.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and audits, both locally and internationally, and perform annual reviews.
• Compare suppliers in terms of product specifications, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms, and present recommendations to management for cost optimization.
• Collaborate with suppliers and the quality control team to ensure product compliance and timely delivery.
• Manage purchase orders and related documentation, maintaining accurate records within the system.
• Work closely with finance and accounting teams to handle accounts payable documentation.
• Prepare and review international purchase contracts and import documentation.
• Coordinate with shipping companies and forwarders for import processes.
• Monitor stock levels.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement and supply chaing preferably in the FMCG or Food & Beverage industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
• Fluent in both Thai and English.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Business Administration or a related field.
