Demand & Supply Planning Manager

Our client is a well-known food and beverage manufacturing and trading company

Demand Forecasting and Analysis:

• Create and update accurate demand projections for domestic and export markets, utilizing historical data and trends to forecast future needs.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to integrate both qualitative and quantitative insights into demand forecasts.
• Continuously monitor sales performance and market conditions to adjust forecasts as necessary.

Supply Planning:

• Develop and manage supply plans that align with projected demand, ensuring timely production and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and customer service teams to guarantee seamless product delivery and inventory management.
• Regularly assess inventory levels, identifying opportunities to minimize obsolete or excess stock and implementing corrective actions.

Process Improvement and Strategy:

• Drive continuous improvement in demand and supply planning processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practices.
• Lead initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency by incorporating lean principles, focusing on minimizing waste and maximizing resource utilization.
• Collaborate with various departments to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives and support product development initiatives.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, and logistics teams, to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with customer demand and business goals.
• Participate in product innovation and development discussions, providing input on supply chain feasibility and supporting the launch of new products.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of supply and demand planning professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Set clear performance goals for the team and regularly review key performance indicators to drive improvements in forecasting, inventory control, and supply planning.

• Experience working FMCG company / manufacturing
• Proven experience in demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
