Our client specializes in logistics and shipping services. The company is known for providing comprehensive shipping solutions, including freight forwarding and non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) services

Job Responsibilities

Operations:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the shipping company’s operations within the country, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods through various transportation modes (sea, air, land) and logistics processes.
  • Oversee and manage all equipment-related matters for the Thailand office, coordinating with the Equipment Department in India.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations, staying informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting the shipping industry in the country.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with shipping and logistics operations, implementing safety and security protocols.
  • Lead and manage the operations team, including professionals in operations, documentation, and logistics.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain excellent written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams.
Experience requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in liner sales, specifically in the Thailand and/or regional markets of liner shipping/ NVOCC.
  • Solid experience and knowledge of the container liner shipping industry.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service and a passion for delivering service.
  • Result-oriented, with a high level of ownership and independent drive.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to adjust to and work comfortably in a multicultural and multinational environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
