Job Responsibilities
- Support all regulatory and compliance activities, including reporting to and liaising with local authorities, such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand (SEC), and the parent company.
- Support regulatory and compliance aspects related to business establishment in Thailand, including company incorporation.
- Develop, update, and execute a risk-based local compliance monitoring program, proactively identifying regulatory gaps or compliance weaknesses and recommending corrective actions.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Thai private banking, compliance, and AML/CFT matters.
- Provide advisory support for transactional due diligence and local compliance issues in private banking.
- Guide the private banking business units locally and regionally on compliance policies, procedures, and monitoring initiatives.
- Contribute to special assignments and ad hoc projects as required.
Experience requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in Private Banking Compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for engaging with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive, independent, resourceful, and dedicated to delivering high-quality results.
- Open to taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Proficient in both Thai and English.
