Job Responsibilities

Credit Risk Analysis and Management:

  • Evaluate creditworthiness of applicants by conducting thorough credit analyses, including financial, behavioral, and demographic factors.
  • Design, implement, and optimize credit risk models and scorecards specific to credit card products.
  • Establish credit risk policies and guidelines, monitoring their effectiveness and adjusting them based on changing market conditions and portfolio performance.

Fraud Detection and Prevention:

  • Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies and detection tools, including monitoring transactions for unusual patterns and behaviors.
  • Analyze data to identify potential fraud risks and create predictive models to mitigate fraudulent activity.
  • Collaborate with external vendors on fraud detection solutions, ensuring they are fully integrated into the bank’s credit card systems.

Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Conduct ongoing portfolio monitoring, assessing trends in credit performance, delinquency, and fraud activity to inform decision-making.
  • Prepare regular risk reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting credit and fraud risk metrics, trends, and mitigation measures.
  • Recommend changes to credit policies or fraud prevention techniques based on data insights and industry trends.

Regulatory Compliance and Risk Governance:

  • Ensure all credit and fraud risk management activities comply with Thai banking regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Participate in risk audits and quality assurance checks, ensuring the bank's credit card risk management framework meets regulatory expectations.
  • Support governance activities by collaborating with legal, compliance, and audit teams on matters related to credit and fraud risk.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product, analytics, and IT teams to align risk management strategies with business objectives and customer experience goals.
  • Collaborate with collections teams to establish early warning systems and enhance recovery strategies for high-risk accounts.
  • Provide insights to marketing and sales teams to develop campaigns that balance growth with risk management.
Experience requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk and/or fraud risk management, with a focus on credit card products or consumer lending.
  • In-depth knowledge of credit risk assessment and fraud detection methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, SAS, Python, or R.
  • Solid understanding of Thai regulatory requirements for credit and fraud risk management.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective risk policies and fraud prevention strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both Thai and English.
