Job Responsibilities

As the Head of IT Product Implementation, you will lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of a Product in financial and banking business from the ground up. This involves defining the project scope, coordinating with key stakeholders in business and IT, and ensuring the product aligns with both business needs and regulatory requirements. You will oversee resource planning, project timelines, and development stages to achieve a successful launch of the Product.


Product Development and Implementation

  • Define and manage the implementation strategy for the product from initial concept to launch.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, objectives, and deliverables for the solution.
  • Develop detailed project plans and timelines for Product Implementation, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance standards.


Cross-Functional Coordination for Product

  • Partner with business, IT, and external vendors to align on project goals and specific requirements for systems.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications for the product, ensuring seamless integration with existing banking systems.
  • Facilitate workshops to identify operational challenges and design optimized solutions tailored to the business.


Project and Stakeholder Management

  • Provide regular updates on the Product Implementation progress to executives and stakeholders.
  • Lead issue resolution, risk management, and mitigation strategies to address potential roadblocks in the implementation project.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and banking standards throughout the product lifecycle.


Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Oversee all testing phases, including system integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and quality assurance, specifically for the system.
  • Document test results, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes prior to product launch.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training for effective product rollout.


Post-Launch Support and Maintenance

  • Monitor Product performance post-launch, ensuring smooth maintenance and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with IT and business teams to make continuous improvements based on user feedback and evolving industry standards.
Experience requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT project management, product development, and system implementation.
  • Proven track record in launching and managing products from inception, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of project management frameworks, SDLC, and business analysis specific to systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Thorough understanding of banking regulations and product compliance requirements.
