About the Company

Our client provides comprehensive solutions for legal, tax, financial, licensing, and labor issues. They are enhancing their global footprint by establishing a new office in Thailand and are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lawyer/Associate join the dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal counsel on all M&A aspects: due diligence, negotiation, drafting, regulatory compliance, and post-merger integration.
  • Offer comprehensive legal advice on corporate, commercial, labor, intellectual property, competition, and compliance laws.
  • Conduct legal research, draft/review legal documents, and advise on compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Manage and represent clients in litigation, arbitration, and legal proceedings.
  • Search, evaluate, and contact target companies based on investor requests for strategic fit and growth potential.
  • Identify potential M&A opportunities through market research, industry events, and networking.
  • Build and maintain relationships with investment banks, advisory firms, and other intermediaries.
  • Collaborate with partners to source investors, negotiate terms, and facilitate deal execution.
  • Provide legal support for the Thailand office, ensuring corporate and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage corporate documentation, including records, licenses, and compliance, and assist with legal and operational issues.
Experience requirements

·      LL.B. degree or higher with outstanding academic credentials and Thai lawyer’s license.

·      Excellent in English communication skills, especially in writing and drafting abilities. Proficiency in other languages is an asset.

·      3-5 years of experience in corporate matters with an international law firm or legal consulting firm.

·      Proficiency in conducting legal research, drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving.

·      Ability to work independently under tight timelines with a proactive and open-minded attitude.

·      Experience in managing corporate documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance.

·      Proven track record of managing complex M&A transactions and related legal processes.

·      Cultural sensitivity and ability to navigate cross-cultural interactions.

·      Integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
