About the Company

Our client is a group of food & beverage companies, and well-established in Thailand. They are now expanding their business to ASEAN countries and now provide an opportunity for Assistance Manager - Tax to lead and join their dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work closely with professional tax consultants and the internal team to prepare Transfer Pricing Documentation, including the Master File and Local File.
  • Review and provide feedback on the annual and semi-annual Corporate Income Tax calculations and disclosure forms prepared by the accounting team.
  • Act as an internal tax advisor, offering advice on tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Communicate with tax authorities and handle tax-related issues or audits.
  • Review and provide input on tax audit documentation prepared by the accounting team.
  • Assist the Tax Manager in analyzing new tax regulations, developing tax strategies, and managing project-related tasks.
  • Support the Tax Manager in identifying potential tax savings, including researching and applying for relevant tax credits, deductions, and incentives.
  • Perform tax health checks or internal tax audits.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize tax processes, improve reporting systems, and reduce tax risks.
  • Conduct research on emerging tax issues, legislative changes, and industry best practices.
  • Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with other departments to ensure efficient tax reporting workflows.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Experience requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or taxation.

• At least 7 years of experience in tax and accounting roles.

• Experience in managing tax audits.

• In-depth knowledge of VAT, WHT, CIT, stamp duty, and accounting processes, including reconciliations.

• Excellent numerical abilities with a sharp attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

• Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to solve problems creatively.

• Business-oriented with a confident approach.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English, with strong communication skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
