Our client, a prominent manufacturer and supplier of high-quality gloves and rubber gloves, is currently seeking a skilled Utility Engineer - Operation to join their team. Job Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal efficiency of all utility service machines to support plant operations with minimal downtime or failure.
- Ensure all responsible equipment is in good working condition and complies with regulatory controls, while ensuring service and operation operators follow safe operating procedures.
- Test and assess utility machines, plant equipment, instruments, or components to identify and resolve sources of failure, improve accuracy, and enhance assembly and maintenance feasibility. (Including Boilers, Chillers, Compressors, Effluent Treatment Plant (upstream and downstream), Soft Water, City Water, Incoming Electrical Systems, and Fire Hydrant Systems).
- Conduct annual boiler inspections and submit reports to relevant government authorities.
- Perform annual NG system-related inspections and submit reports to the government authorities.
- Design modifications and replace components in instruments as required.
- Gather and share technological advancements and developments in the plant maintenance field.
- Supervise and guide utility staff to ensure efficient job performance.
- Ensure adherence to internal and external quality, safety, health, and environmental rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and training to maintain a safe working environment, free from health or environmental risks.
- Ensure swift corrective actions, accurate investigations, and detailed reports for all accidents and incidents.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of all generated waste in a safe manner.
Experience requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial utility maintenance/operations or a related field, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a systematic approach to thinking, excellent analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and sound decision-making. Service-oriented, with a sense of urgency and effective interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of utility plant equipment, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and PLC.
- Intermediate Level of English.
- Proficient in computer usage.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
