About the Company

Our client is a leading global provider of transport and logistics services, offering tailored solutions in transportation, warehousing, global logistics, and supply chain management.

Job Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of global tender processes and procedures to increase success rates.
  • Deliver accurate and timely responses to customer requests based on specific RFQ requirements, including volume analyses, coordinating responses to RFIs, CO2 and sustainable fuel calculations, and customized support requests.
  • Facilitate the RFQ compliance process and manage the Terms & Conditions Check (TACC) process.
  • Manage the tender pricing process for agent tenders in line with global tender policies, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
  • Grow the spot quote desk with the right customers, regularly evaluating and proposing customer replacements.
  • Improve hit rates and revenue by challenging the competitiveness of quotes.
  • Administer and report information on tender support and spot quote activities using global applications.
  • Steer, develop, and motivate direct reports in line with global HR policies and company objectives, ensuring quality and quantity of staffing for current and future needs.
  • Manage compliance with HR policies, initiate and execute performance management processes, and identify developmental needs.
  • Communicate strategy and business results regularly, ensuring transparent and timely communication.
Experience requirements
  • 8 years of experience in the logistics/freight forwarding industry.
  • 3 years of team leading experience.
  • Experience in managing tender processes, including developing and optimizing tender procedures
  • Experience in managing compliance processes, such as the Terms & Conditions Check (TACC) process, to ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
  • Proficient in English, both verbally and written.
Education requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
