Procurement Manager

Our client produces consumer products from agricultural resources, with a strong focus on sustainability and ethical practices.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with industrial needs and goals.
• Identify and qualify suppliers based on capabilities, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, pricing, and performance.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and legal compliance.
• Collaborate with production and planning teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs and shortages.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings through strategic sourcing, volume discounts, and process improvements.
• Establish and monitor supplier performance metrics (KPIs). & regularly assess supplier performance against criteria 
• Identify opportunities for process automation, standardization, and system integration.
• Collect and analyze procurement data and key metrics to evaluate procurement performance.

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar industrial procurement leadership role.
• Deep understanding of industrial procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and supplier management.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment, materials, and services procurement.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with inventory management techniques and demand planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to visit the factory in upcountry occasionally

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
