About the Company
The client specializes in offering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, maintenance, and manpower supply services, with a particular focus on the oil and gas and energy industries.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead Proposal Development: Oversee the entire proposal development process, including conducting kickoff meetings, developing proposal outlines and schedules, and coordinating proposal team activities.
- Analyze RFPs: Review and analyze request for proposal (RFP) documents to understand client requirements and ensure proposals meet these requirements.
- Cost Estimation: Expertise in cost estimation, pricing strategies, and financial analysis related to project bids.
- Content Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop proposal content that demonstrates the organization’s capabilities and solutions.
- Editing and Proofreading: Edit, revise, and proofread proposal content to ensure clarity, conciseness, and grammatical accuracy.
- Proposal Review: Manage the proposal review process and incorporate feedback to improve the quality of the proposal.
- Production and Delivery: Coordinate the production and delivery of final proposal documents, including printing, binding, and shipping as necessary.
- Maintain Proposal Libraries: Develop and maintain proposal libraries and templates to streamline the proposal development process.
- Post-Proposal Reviews: Conduct post-proposal reviews to gather feedback and lessons learned for future proposals.
Experience requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 -10 years of experience in proposal management, project bidding, or business development, preferably in the EPC or oil and gas industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in proposal development software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
