Job Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead and manage airport construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, project managers, and other professionals. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Maintain strong relationships and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams. Review and approve project plans, designs, and specifications.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
Experience requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in airport construction and project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
    • Strong understanding of airport engineering principles and construction methods.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams.
    • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
