Operations Specialist (Air freight & Sea freight)

Our client is a freight forwarding company specializing in comprehensive logistics solutions, focusing on air and sea transport in Thailand

• Oversee the end-to-end process of airfreight and seafreight shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
• Create and manage jobs within the Transport Management System (TMS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
• Arrange and coordinate the pickup and delivery of shipments, working closely with carriers and airlines
• Place bookings with carriers and airlines, ensuring space and equipment availability
• Issue and manage all necessary shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations
• Handle the costing and billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing
• Navigate the customs clearance process in Thailand, ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements
• Ensure all shipments comply with relevant Incoterms, providing guidance and support as needed
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Air or Sea freight operations.
• Proven experience in negotiating with service providers and managing relationships with carriers.
• Strong familiarity with Incoterms and the customs clearance process in Thailand.
• Proficiency in documentation processes for export and import, including Letters of Credit.
• Ability to compare service performance and propose improvements.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
