Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement construction policies and strategies to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the construction team to achieve maximum performance and efficiency.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging professional growth and development.
Project Oversight:
- Monitor and control project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and clients on project status and progress.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve construction processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize project delivery.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements and company objectives.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success and company reputation.
Experience requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
