Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain regulatory compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws and industry standards.
- Lead and oversee the legal and compliance team in Thailand, providing strategic guidance and performance supervision.
- Draft, review, and refine complex agreements, ensuring legal accuracy and compliance. Facilitate contract negotiations for major projects and oversee the development and revision of standardized contract templates in both Thai and English.
- Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, managing engagements and coordinating regulatory inspections across Express, Fulfillment, Pay, Commerce, and Fintech business operations.
- Oversee the execution of the company’s legal compliance framework, including periodic legal training programs to enhance organizational awareness and adherence.
Experience requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in the legal and compliance in retail, logistics, or digital payment services is an advantage.
- Proven proficiency in legal drafting, negotiation, and communication in both spoken and written English.
- In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks governing logistics, express delivery, fulfillment, payment services, and internet-related industries in key strategic markets.
- Strong expertise in regulatory compliance, with the ability to navigate complex legal requirements effectively.
- Detail-oriented, diligent, and committed to upholding compliance standards.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and provide sound legal guidance.
- Capable of managing high-pressure situations and meeting tight deadlines.
