About the Company
Our client a life insurance provider based in Thailand. The company offers a range of insurance products and services, including life protection plans, investment-linked insurance, corporate insurance, general insurance, and other insurances.
They are seeking for candidate who has a keen experience in "IFRS17" implementation
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct gap analysis to assess IFRS 17 & 9 implications on management, statutory financial reporting, and management reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Consultants, Accounting & Finance, Actuarial, PMO, IT) to prioritize and plan the end-to-end implementation process.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements from OIC, TFAC, TLAA, and SEC during implementation.
- Support the transition and parallel run of IFRS 17, ensuring business requirements are tested and properly implemented.
- Stay updated on accounting and industry changes, revising company policies and procedures accordingly.
- Promote a continuous improvement culture for efficient processes.
- Assist in budgeting, financial closing, and monthly management reporting.
- Handle ad-hoc assignments as needed.
Experience requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or equivalent is a plus).
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting/finance in insurance or auditing insurance firms.
- Knowledge of TFRS and TAS is a plus.
- Experience or understanding of IFRS 17 in life insurance.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Proactive and eager to learn.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines under pressure.
