Project Planning and Design

• Oversee the preparation and approval of detailed engineering designs.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Evaluate the design’s feasibility, efficiency, and cost effectiveness

Construction Management

• Manage and monitor construction activities to ensure that engineering and design standards and maintained.
• Ensure the construction process adheres to the project’s timeline, budget and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor and evaluate performance of designers and construction contractors/subcontractors.

Risk Management, Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Identify potential risks and challenges in engineering design and construction and implement mitigation strategies.
• Resolve technical issues and challenges that may arise during the design or construction phases.
• Ensure engineering designs and construction methods comply with safety standards, local building codes, industry standards and regulations.
• Perform quality assurance throughout end-to-end- process of construction project development.

Budgeting and Resource Management

• Develop and manage the budget of each project ensuring cost-efficiency in design and construction.
• Manage resources, materials, and equipment effectively to avoid possible delays or cost overruns.

Team Management and Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and manage engineers, designers and technical staff to ensure proper performance and high productivity.
• Provide technical guidance and support to all team members throughout the project.
• Coordinate between departments, ensuring clear communication, transparent work operations, alignment on goals.
• Prepare and deliver plans, progress reports, technical presentations, and other relevant documentation to stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate development, construction and design with a proven record in residential projects.
• In-depth knowledge of safety standards, environmental guidelines, local construction codes, and relevant rules and regulations.
• Expertise in construction management, engineering design, and project delivery processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and project specifications.
• Familiar with cost estimation tools and project management software with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills in English (Chinese language proficiency is a plus).
