Head of Risk Management

Our client is a securities company that provides financial services, including brokerage, investment banking, asset management, and other capital market-related services.

The Head of Risk Management is responsible for overseeing and implementing the company’s risk management framework, ensuring financial, operational, and regulatory risks are effectively identified, assessed, and mitigated. This role requires strategic leadership in risk governance, policy development, and regulatory compliance to support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise risk management (ERM) framework across all business units.
• Identify, assess, and monitor financial, market, credit, operational, and compliance risks.
• Ensure compliance with SEC, BOT, and other regulatory requirements, proactively addressing risk-related issues.
• Provide risk insights and recommendations to the CEO, Board Risk Committee, and senior management.
• Establish and enhance risk policies, procedures, and control mechanisms to mitigate potential exposures.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to foster a risk-aware culture and provide risk advisory.
• Oversee stress testing, scenario analysis, and risk assessment reports for management decision-making.
• Engage with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders on risk-related matters.

• At least 10 years of experience in risk management within securities, banking, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of capital market regulations, Basel framework, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience in credit, market, operational, and enterprise risk management.
• Ability to develop and implement risk frameworks, policies, and governance structures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Thai and English (both written and spoken).
