Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the production process and production schedule
- Ensure that the production is cost effective
- Estimate costs and set the quality standards
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules
- Responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment
- Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers
Experience requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Production of Chemical industry
- Holding Licensed for Professional Practice (Professional Industrial Engineer Level or above)
- Familiar with Japanese organization management with factory operation
- Strong knowledge of processes related equipment such as DCS system / technical background in chemical process related sector
- Strong knowledge of ISO and quality management systems, continuous improvement, 5S, TPM/TQM concepts
- Strong leadership, good personality, service-minded, enthusiastic, and hard working
- Good command of English language with computer proficiency
