Legal and Compliance Officer

Job Responsibilities
- Direct, oversee, and lead the company’s Legal and Compliance Division
- Handle all legal, compliance, and risk management related to the company including contract and agreement, investment, and fund
- Provide advice and response to inquiries related to legal, compliance, and risk management advice to the management team
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations including global compliance policies
- Review related legal documents for both internal and external parties
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, industry associations including internal and external auditors
- Manage regulatory reporting, licensing matters, and continuous professional training monitoring process.
- Keep abreast of regulatory development and assess business impact.
- Monitoring and reporting of AML, and OIC issues
- Provide advice and instructions to ensure the Company complies with the Personal Data Protection Act
Experience requirements
- Bachelor or higher degree in Law with a lawyer license
- At least 7 – 15 years of experience in legal industries
- At least 2 years of experience in an Insurance company or insurance expertise in a law firm
- Strong knowledge of OIC and AMLO’s rules and regulations
- Experience in risk management is a plus
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
