Senior Pipeline Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Support T&I projects in completing deliverables for SURF, pipeline, riser, J-tube installation
• Provide review and feedback to EPCIC project when interacting with the detailed engineering group
• Lead position to monitor workload distribution for the section
• Lead pipeline engineers to ensure all the work done are compliance with internal quality check requirement before issuing to client/ MWS
• Train, coach, and mentoring young engineers
• Ensure work satisfaction and motivation within the group
• Ensure the engineering analysis, calculation performed is in accordance with project specification review/perform pipelay analyses using pipelay barge
• Review and perform riser stalk on installation and davit lift analyses, pipeline free span calculations, stinger profile requirement check, ballast calculations
• Review and perform pipeline sidewalk analyses, pipeline startup analyses, either by bowstring or anchor start-up, pipeline midpoint tie-in analyses
• Review/perform pipeline design (for EPCIC job), client’s specifications, international codes, and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical), or related fields
• At least 8 years total working experience in the oil & gas industry
• At least 10 years should be in transportation and installation, EPCIC Project
• Well-versed in various MWS requirements, and clients’ specifications for offshore operation and engineering.
• Familiar with Engineering software such as Orcaflex, OFFPIPE, Mathcad & Autocad
• Familiar with pipeline engineering recommended practice (i.e. API, DNVGL-ST-F101, etc.)
• Having Engineering license
• Good command of English
