Job Responsibilities
- To support Decommissioning project in monitoring and completing engineering deliverables for platform/ riser/ j-tube/ pipeline removal projects.
- To support T&I projects in completing structural/ naval/ pipeline/ SURF deliverables for structure/ pipeline/ riser/ J-tube transportation & installation.
- To interface with the Project engineering manager based in Kuala Lumpur making sure input from client/ MWS is transferred and captured in the overall engineering planning package.
- To participate in weekly and monthly engineering meetings with clients and ensure consistent communication between client and engineering group.
- To monitor engineering progress and input to overall project control for progress reporting.
- To provide the technical support and/or lead the engineering function at the tender stage
Experience requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical)
- At least 8 years total working experience in the oil & gas industry, project engineering, turn around project
- At least 5 years should be in transportation and installation/ detailed engineering
- Well-versed in various MWS requirements, and clients’ specifications for offshore operation and engineering
- Familiar with Engineering software such as SACS, GRLWeap, Staadpro, Orcaflex, MOSES, Abaqus, Ansys, Offpipe Autocad
- Having Engineering license
- Good command of English
