Test Engineer

Our customer is a prominent worldwide provider of materials, networking, and laser technologies serving industrial, communications, electronics, and instrumentation sectors.

For this Test Engineer position:

This role develop and sustain NPI tests and manufacturing test systems, troubleshoot failures, improve accuracy and efficiency, and continuously enhance test systems for various products while also developing software and hardware for new product introductions and maintaining manufacturing test systems for other products as needed

Salary range is negotiable and the working location is in Pathumthani, Thailand.

Job description:

• Develop and maintain NPI tests and manufacturing test systems.
• Troubleshoot test system failures and analyze test outcomes.
• Enhance test system accuracy, Gage R&R, capital efficiency, and reduce test time.
• Continuously improve test systems for diverse products like optical amplifiers, wavelength management devices, and monitoring systems.
• Develop software for new product introductions.
• Create hardware and test kits for new product introductions.
• Maintain manufacturing test systems for other products as directed by supervisors

• At least 3 years working experience in manufacturing test systems, preferably optics and telecom industries.
• Demonstrated experience in failure analysis of electro-optical systems.
• Knowledge in optical test systems, Programming in VB, C# and LabVIEW, Oracle or equivalent RDBMS database application development
• Good command in English

• Bachelor's degree in Optics, Engineering, Electronics or a closely related field
