Our Client, a global leader in Sodium Sulphite and Metabisulphite production, backed by a Fortune Global 500 company, seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Production Planning Manager to head their Production and Warehouse operations.

About the Role:

In this pivotal role, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing all production and warehousing activities, ensuring they achieve targeted production volumes within budget. You'll be responsible for process optimization, quality control, team development, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you'll collaborate with the Marketing and Services team on new product development and application exploration.

Job Responsibilities
  • Optimize plant effectiveness to achieve production targets and cost efficiency.
  • Stabilize dual raw material flexibility and ensure consistent quality of SMBS, SS, and Sigma products.
  • Lead the team towards continuous improvement, including ETP operations and waste minimization.
  • Foster a high-performing production team and champion a culture of safety.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and implement new product development strategies.
  • Ensure seamless integration between production, warehouse, and logistics, aligning with market demands.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and transporters.
  • Lead by example, promoting internal customer focus and adherence to SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) regulations.
Experience requirements

Who We Are Looking For:

  • A results-oriented leader with proven experience in managing production and warehouse operations in the chemical industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding production targets while maintaining the highest quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and a commitment to continuous improvement (WCM Gold standard).
  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
