Our client is a leading chrysalis network equipment manufacturer in the telecommunications industry, renowned for its cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and Submission: Create detailed designs for data center HVAC systems, including drawings and material submissions.
- Onsite Support: Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting on-site, ensure equipment and HVAC systems pass practical acceptance tests, including functional, system integration, and PAC signoffs.
- Compliance: Ensure HVAC system construction strictly follows the design specifications.
- Project Delivery: Oversee the project to ensure high quality and timely completion.
- Project Assistance: Support the technical director and project manager in managing the entire project.
Experience requirements
- Experience: Experience in HVAC system design with design institutes, consulting firms, integrators, or equipment manufacturers. Experience with large-scale data centers (over 500 racks) and overseas projects is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, presentation, listening, and negotiation skills. Good teamwork, adaptability, and ability to handle challenges and pressure. Open-minded with excellent interpersonal skills in multicultural environments.
- Willingness: Ready to travel globally, especially within the Asia-Pacific region.
Professional Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of air conditioning water systems, air systems, and smoke exhaust systems.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of heat transfer and air conditioning. Ability to perform CFD simulations and resolve related issues.
- Proficient in designing and drawing HVAC systems and familiar with HVAC design standards.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified HVAC Engineer
- Uptime ATD/ATS qualification
- ATD (Accredited Tier Designer) by UPTIME Institute
- CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional) by EPI
- Chartered Engineer in HVAC
Education requirements
· Bachelor's degree or above in HVAC Engineering or related discipline.
